Doubts

How could you tell me that I'm great
When they chew me up, spit me out, pissed on me?
Why would you tell me that it's fate
When they laughed at me, every day, in my face?

Hello readers,
I am here to write a post regarding to what I did this month. As you know April is coming to an end and I realized I am not being active as usual. I hope I will try to update more often when school holidays are near.

Recently, I have been down with a flu and itchy throat. Every minute, I kept coughing and coughing which made it, a trend, in my class. Annoying isn't it? Imagine having itchy throat which delay your actions and thinking process. For example, today I had a Mathematics mock test and while sketching graph, I had to paused for a moment and cleared my throat for 5 minutes. Even if 5 minutes is not that long, having a delay is awful. As there is a saying, time is precious.

Another disturbing thing is about a "friend" of mine. As what I wrote back in January last year, this person still didn't changed. She became my classmate after going through subject streaming and it is horrible. This person has the best of both world, earning titles like Best Miss Backstabber, Best Miss Liar and Best Miss Bitch. Amazing how a person can win these titles since these goes to "privileged people". Back in February last year, she asked me for forgiveness and I did. If I were to go back, I would have said, "No". I am definitely considered a rival against her, though I did not pursue the friendship further and we drifted apart over her nonsensical thinking.

I always asked myself, "What have I gotten into?" and "How am I great?". I am weird, unappreciated and nerdy. It is disappointing to see how people betrayed one another over a small matter or to fulfill their motive.

I hope May is going to be a great month ahead and in a few days time, I am going to have my Mid-Year Examinations till May 16, 2014. Praying to God for my best wishes to be answered and guidance along the way.

In a meantime, here is a (and my current addiction) song from my favourite all-time indie rock band, The Neighbourhood with their latest song from the
free mixtape, #000000 & #FFFFFF (Black & White in HTML colour codes) called, Lurk.

Involvement + Hobby

Hello readers,
I apologize for not being active on my blog these days. I was too busy being involved in last week's Student Council Investiture and Sports Carnival. Besides my involvement, I have been taking up an Executive Committee role as General Secretary. Being a secretary is not easy though but I am still trying to adapt to this.

I have been facing personal problems. Recently, I have been trying to fall asleep in class. This is the first time that is happening to me. I never felt my energy drained before till this year and thus, my teachers are watching. Also, I had a miscommunication with my friend and classmate. Unfortunately, my friend whom I once mentioned in a post dated back to January/February 2013 thought I was avoiding her and that is not true. The reason why I did not joined her in canteen was because I was sitting with my good friend for the whole time. If I were to choose her or my good friend, I would choose my good friend.

I always felt life is quite unfair in terms of position ranking and smartness. I have always been typecast as a "smart student". To be honest, I am not a smart student since primary school and I always felt lucky. I have the rights to be happy and cheerful when it comes to examination results. I worked hard and put my best effort in them! I also have the rights to be a "I don't know" person since this is the only way to get teachers' attention and help.

Since I have mentioned my problems here, I am also here to mentioned about my secret hobby. Writing song lyrics has always been my favourite hobby since I was 10 years old in 2009. I started off writing crappy lyrics on my notebook (which I don't think it is with me now) and from there, I continued to change the way I wrote them. The last song I have written as of now is called "Wake Up". "Wake Up" was inspired from the day I had Chemistry lesson. During the Chemistry lesson, I almost fell asleep and while being in half reality and half dream, there was a sudden music that came of my mind. I was excited that I wrote the word, "Wake Up" on my student handbook.

Here is a chorus for the "Wake Up":

I can't hear what you want me to sing
Oh...
I can't hear what you want me to say
Oh...
I don't play with fire
Faith caught up in flame
Vengeance against politics
Squeeze your neck and bang your head
So wake up!
Wake Up! (Oh...)
Wake Up!
Wake Up! (Oh...)

I know some of you may find this ridiculous.

That is all from me right now and happy weekend!

April

Hello readers,
This is my first post for April and it is going to be an amazing month. This is the time where I will be going through a change in school life: more opportunities = more responsibilities.

I will be taking over my senior in helping my junior in Chinese Orchestra. He has lot of things to learned during April and May. As a senior, I hope to passed on my knowledge to my junior and guide him throughout this year since he is a Secondary One student which means he will be in Secondary 2 next year. That year 2015, I will stepped down from all responsibilities and concentrate on my GCE 'N' Level.

This week, I will be collecting three awards during Greenridge Secondary School's Awards Day 2014 because I got first in subject for Year 2013 in History, Geography and English. This is my first time collecting awards home on the school stage and I am pretty much excited. However, there are many rehearsals ahead including Student Leaders Investiture 2014. I was appointed to be a General Secretary for this year and next year.

Though April is an exciting month, it is also the month where there are lots of problems and events such as Sports Carnival at Bukit Gombak Stadium and preparation for Mid-Year Examinations. I know Mid-Year Examinations are more important than Common Test 1 and this time, I better work hard instead of slacking off!

Looking forward to a new month and have many memories!
